Description

  • Manage and document vehicle movement through the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
  • Serve as the front-line point of contact for associates, vendors, and visitors at the facility.
  • Communicate clearly with team members, partners, and customers while maintaining active listening and effective dialogue.
  • Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and logistics facility, documenting security and safety concerns.
  • Assist with badge creation, CCTV review, and other requests in partnership with the Safe and Secure Team Lead and Manager.
  • Respond appropriately to incidents by following the Incident Response Protocol and maintaining an incident-ready mindset.
  • De-escalate situations and collaborate with partners and team members to resolve conflicts.
  • Execute Safe and Secure principles and access/exit procedures at facility gates.
  • Use the SAS App and RFID technology to support security and operations.
  • Maintain a service-first approach while promoting Carvana’s values.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions in a complex environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with others.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle conflict in a positive way.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, RFID, card access, and other Safe and Secure technology is preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting an OSHA program or safety team is preferred.
  • Experience supporting crisis prevention and/or response plans is preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • This is a safety-sensitive position.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds, including transport up to 20 feet.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods and perform frequent physical movements in varied environmental conditions.
  • Must have excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to use required safety equipment.
  • Must be able to drive frequently and perform computer data entry.
  • Must maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be available for overnight hours, with open availability highly preferred; scheduled 10 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. Sunday through Thursday.
  • Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
