Description

  • Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance matters and support complex projects involving employment law changes and Collective Bargaining Agreement updates.
  • Manage employee lifecycle leave and working hours cases with accuracy and attention to detail across internal and external employees.
  • Advise clients and employees on employment legislation and legal interpretations in employment agreements and labor law.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including payroll, legal counsel, and government bodies, to ensure compliance.
  • Support HR and financial audits and help manage initiatives affecting employees across multiple countries.
  • Develop, update, and maintain global documentation for Time & Attendance processes in response to legislative changes.
  • Proactively handle internal and external inquiries related to employment matters in collaboration with Lifecycle stakeholders.
  • Identify and contribute to process improvements, automation, product development, and better customer and employee experiences.
  • Safely manage employee data and confidential information according to established protocols.
  • Promote Remote’s values and contribute to the success of the Lifecycle team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
  • Experience providing HR support and guidance on employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Strong communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to lead difficult conversations professionally and confidentially.
  • Advanced business-level written and spoken English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Aptitude for innovating and optimizing processes, with a focus on automation and best practices.
  • Efficiency in operations, with strong attention to documentation and data integrity.
  • Tech-savvy and able to collaborate asynchronously using various tools and adapt to new systems.
  • Ability to work independently and in an international, fast-paced, remote environment with multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
  • Familiarity with Notion, Slack, Zendesk, and G-suite.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and a foundational understanding of its practical applications in operations and automation.
