Description

  • Manage and document vehicle movement through the Inspection Center entrance and exit gates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for associates, vendors, and visitors at the gate.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, partners, and customers while maintaining active listening and clear dialogue.
  • Conduct routine patrols of the Inspection Center and logistics facility yard and buildings, documenting safety and security concerns.
  • Support badge creation, CCTV review, and related Safe and Secure team requests.
  • Follow incident response protocols and take appropriate action during security or safety events.
  • De-escalate conflicts and collaborate with partners and team members to resolve issues.
  • Execute facility Safe and Secure principles for access control and exit procedures.
  • Use the Safe and Secure Application (SAS App) and RFID technology.
  • Deliver a service-first experience and represent Carvana values on site.

Requirements

  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to make sound decisions in a complex environment.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and relate well with others.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and execute multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to handle conflict situations in a positive way.
  • Knowledge of CCTV, RFID, card access, and other safe and secure technology is preferred.
  • Previous experience supporting an OSHA program or safety team is preferred.
  • Experience supporting crisis prevention and/or response plans is preferred.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and perform frequent standing, walking, bending, pushing, pulling, and stretching.
  • Must be able to work in conditions that may be cold, hot, noisy, wet, or have fumes or odors.
  • Must have excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity.
  • Must be able to use required safety equipment and perform frequent driving and computer data entry.
  • Must maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Must be available for a 24/7 operation with gates manned at all times.
  • Must pass a complete background check.
  • This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
