Description

  • Map Buildkite’s GTM and brand experience end-to-end.
  • Build a signal taxonomy across the full customer journey and define which signals are actionable at each stage.
  • Partner with Sales and Brand teams to turn ambiguity into clear operating processes.
  • Establish and protect a clean, enforceable GTM data foundation.
  • Develop a coherent operating system that avoids tool sprawl and works safely at scale.
  • Design agentic workflows that accelerate human work while preserving human judgment.
  • Implement guardrails, quality controls, and review gates so automated output remains trustworthy and on-brand.
  • Devise, ship, and iterate on stage plays across all stages of the customer journey.
  • Diagnose funnel friction with Sales and Brand and implement fixes that improve conversion and execution.
  • Document decisions, risks, and tradeoffs and create reusable standards and components that improve GTM execution over time.

Requirements

  • Engineering background with experience shipping and operating production systems.
  • Experience in GTM engineering or building systems that power revenue teams.
  • Experience sequencing and scripting AI-led tooling such as Metaflow, Clay, Customer.io, and reo.dev, or similar toolchains.
  • Sales fluency and understanding of how sales processes work in practice.
  • Marketing fluency, including understanding of modern marketing beyond personas and ICP.
  • Experience building and scaling AI-led or agentic workflows.
  • Strong systems thinking and the ability to simplify messy, cross-functional processes under constraints.
  • Commercial judgment with a focus on ROI and avoiding vanity metrics.
  • Clear written communication and documentation skills.
  • Comfort working asynchronously in a high-trust environment and owning problems end-to-end.
  • Experience with SQL and lightweight scripting such as TypeScript or Python is a plus.
  • Experience with CRM/data architecture and scaling systems without breaking is a plus.
  • Familiarity with intent/ABM systems and deliverability/suppression discipline is a plus.
  • Experience in developer tools or technical GTM motions is a plus.
