Description

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within enterprise accounts.
  • Own the full sales cycle for complex, high-value deals from prospecting through close.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers across industries.
  • Develop and execute long-term account strategies to expand revenue across multiple business units.
  • Lead complex sales processes involving technical evaluations and multiple stakeholders.
  • Accurately forecast revenue and pipeline using methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
  • Maintain complete CRM documentation and hygiene across long-cycle opportunities.
  • Partner with leadership, Solutions Architects, and cross-functional teams to secure successful outcomes.
  • Represent Buildkite in executive meetings, industry events, and conferences.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights to influence product, sales strategy, and team best practices.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in B2B SaaS or software sales with a strong record of closing enterprise-level deals.
  • Deep understanding of developer tooling, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
  • Experience influencing both technical stakeholders and senior executives within global enterprises.
  • Expertise in strategic sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or MEDDPICC.
  • Demonstrated ability to consistently exceed revenue targets.
  • Strong forecasting and reporting capability for long-cycle enterprise deals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across functions and contribute to broader sales team capability.
  • Experience mentoring peers and helping define best practices across a sales organization.
  • On-target earnings structure with a 50/50 base/variable split.
  • Base salary range of $110,000-$150,000, depending on geographic location, relevant experience, and qualifications.
