Description

  • Own the full sales cycle for large, complex enterprise accounts from prospecting through close.
  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities within enterprise accounts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders and executive decision-makers across industries.
  • Develop account strategies to expand existing relationships and uncover opportunities across multiple business units.
  • Lead complex sales processes involving technical evaluations and multiple stakeholders.
  • Forecast revenue and pipeline accurately using methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
  • Maintain detailed CRM documentation and hygiene across long-cycle opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects to design and deliver enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Represent Buildkite in executive meetings, industry events, and conferences.
  • Share customer feedback and market insights internally to influence product and sales strategy.

Requirements

  • Significant experience in B2B SaaS or software sales with a strong track record of closing enterprise-level deals.
  • Deep understanding of developer tooling, CI/CD, and cloud platforms such as AWS and GCP.
  • Experience influencing both technical stakeholders and senior executives within global enterprises.
  • Expertise using sales methodologies such as MEDDIC or MEDDPICC to manage complex sales cycles.
  • Consistently exceeds revenue targets with strong forecasting and reporting capability.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions and contribute to broader sales team capability.
  • Ability to design and execute long-term account strategies that drive sustainable growth.
  • Experience sharing knowledge, mentoring peers, and contributing to sales best practices.
  • Base salary range of $110,000-$150,000, with compensation determined by geographic location, relevant experience, and qualifications.
