Description

  • Lead Regional Sales Managers and sales professionals to drive monthly business-purpose loan production of at least $4 million.
  • Coach, mentor, assess, and retain sales talent to improve performance, product knowledge, and professionalism.
  • Originate business and manage sales performance while setting expectations and coordinating with operations to close loans on time.
  • Build and expand relationships with real estate investors, TPO brokers, referral partners, and other business partners.
  • Develop and execute strategies to source business within defined market areas and strengthen the company’s preferred lender position.
  • Educate business partners, brokers, referral sources, and investors on company products and market value.
  • Host webinars, meetups, seminars, and attend industry networking events to grow the brand and generate business.
  • Participate and speak at industry events using subject-matter knowledge and preparation.
  • Recruit, retain, and motivate sales team members while fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Stay current on legal, regulatory, economic, competitive, and technology changes that could affect the business.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • 3-5 years of proven mortgage sales experience with a verifiable customer base.
  • Experience with forward mortgages, fix-and-flip, bridge, new construction, and/or DSCR rental loans.
  • In-depth knowledge of entity lending, business-purpose loan products, loan processes, and required loan documentation.
  • National or regional sales management experience preferred, but not required.
  • Existing book of business or an extensive network of real estate investors, mortgage brokers, or referral partners.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to creatively source and develop new business.
  • Strong multitasking and time management skills.
  • NMLS license preferred; may be required depending on state and product requirements.
