Description

  • Develop and execute a focused strategy to identify, engage, and build relationships with the top 300 private home builders in the region.
  • Prospect, network, and cultivate relationships with builders, developers, architects, land brokers, and other industry influencers.
  • Originate and structure construction loan products, including vertical construction, land development, bridge financing, and multifamily loans.
  • Lead transactions from initial outreach through structuring, underwriting, approval, and closing.
  • Collaborate with internal credit, processing, and capital markets teams to deliver fast and reliable financing outcomes.
  • Advise builders on deal structure, leverage, timing, and risk mitigation.
  • Build and expand a scalable pipeline through consistent outside sales activity and relationship management.
  • Develop and implement a targeted sales plan with measurable goals and performance tracking.
  • Position Builders Capital as the preferred lending partner for high-volume builders in the territory.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in construction finance or residential/commercial mortgage lending.
  • Strong understanding of construction loan structures and builder workflows.
  • Demonstrated ability or strong ambition to prospect and win business with professional home builders and developers.
  • Polished, professional, and confident communication skills with high-level operators and business owners.
  • Ability to structure creative solutions while balancing risk and long-term partnership value.
  • Comfort working cross-functionally to deliver a seamless borrower experience.
  • Commitment to integrity, transparency, and high ethical standards.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
  • Motivation to build a dominant market presence in the territory.
