Description

  • Achieve planned goals, patient access objectives, and other performance measures for the assigned geography.
  • Review, analyze, and interpret reports and data to plan and execute territory activities that support quarterly and annual objectives.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the assigned territory, including delivery of care, major payers, reimbursement patterns, regulatory conditions, and emerging competition.
  • Provide compliant disease-state, product, and access information to physicians and office personnel using approved materials.
  • Support accounts by helping ensure product access and triaging reimbursement issues in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Engage with account personnel to prepare for sales calls, uncover needs, communicate approved solutions, and follow up on next steps.
  • Collaborate with Braeburn cross-functional partners to support customer and patient needs.
  • Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers to anticipate changing needs and market opportunities.
  • Exercise sound judgment and maintain integrity and compliance with Braeburn policies and Code of Conduct.
  • Manage operational expenses with fiscal control.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) required; advanced business degree is a plus.
  • 7+ years of pharmaceutical experience.
  • At least 3 years of sales and/or field market access experience in biotech, specialty pharmaceutical, or device industries.
  • Experience in a complex distribution model including Specialty Pharmacy, Buy & Bill, and direct distribution.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement and insurance coverage for physician-administered treatments.
  • Proven product launch experience in a highly complex and competitive environment.
  • Experience selling specialty products, particularly physician-administered products such as implantable or injectable medication technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and identify new business opportunities.
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing.
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally, with overnight travel up to 50-70% in some territories.
  • Experience in a start-up environment is a plus.
