Description

  • Own inbound leads end-to-end from first call through discovery, scoping, proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Run discovery conversations with founders and CTOs to understand what clients are actually trying to build.
  • Partner with the scoping and delivery team to turn buyer goals into honest, profitable, and shippable proposals.
  • Coordinate across scoping, design, finance, and leadership to keep deals moving without dropping handoffs.
  • Handle objections, competitor pressure, scope changes, and late-stage client hesitation while keeping the deal on track.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and honest pipeline reviews, including raising risks before deals slip.
  • Share market feedback with marketing and delivery teams on converting ICPs, lost deals, and recurring objections.

Requirements

  • Experience selling a product or service directly to real buyers and closing real deals, such as SaaS, agency services, consulting, financial services, real estate, or recruiting.
  • Ability to point to deals you personally moved across the line and explain how you did it.
  • Strong written communication for email- and Slack-heavy deal cycles.
  • Composure under pressure when competitors, scope changes, or client hesitation create friction.
  • Ability to read buyers quickly and adjust your approach based on priorities such as price, speed, quality, or status.
  • Experience coordinating with engineers, designers, and operations teams to scope and brief work correctly.
  • Strong process discipline with reliable follow-up, SOW management, calendar control, and pipeline hygiene.
  • Comfort working in a 1099, commission-only structure with no base salary.
  • Ability to learn quickly and speak credibly about AI agents, LLMs, product engineering, scoping trade-offs, and pricing models within 60 days.
  • U.S.-based and available during U.S. working hours.
