Description

  • Create, manage, and execute a strategic territory coverage and sales plan to achieve quarterly and annual revenue goals.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue objectives.
  • Plan and manage account strategy and deal strategy for named existing accounts.
  • Identify, qualify, orchestrate, and close new business within enterprise accounts.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of each account's organizational structure, competitive landscape, and technology stack.
  • Implement go-to-market strategies that account for customer requirements, partners, funding, and marketing activities.
  • Prospect into targeted named accounts and execute field sales campaigns to build demand and pipeline.
  • Work closely with Lead Generation and Sales Engineering teams to build and manage a robust pipeline.
  • Manage multiple complex sales processes simultaneously.
  • Articulate the BlueCat value proposition to senior IT leaders and quantify customer needs, ROI, and business value.
  • Maintain strong relationships with enterprise program managers, contract officers, and senior executives.
  • Forecast accurately and keep Salesforce.com updated as the system of record.

Requirements

  • 7-10 years of enterprise sales experience.
  • Experience completing transactions with Fortune 1000 companies.
  • Enterprise new business and/or account management experience in the network industry is preferred.
  • Consistent over-achievement against quota and strong income attainment.
  • Demonstrated success in strategic account selling.
  • Ability to create and execute account plans and strategies.
  • Hunter mentality with proven ability to build a quality pipeline.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a results-driven, team-oriented sales organization.
