Description

  • Own and maintain relationships across a portfolio of approximately 160 strategic retail sellers to drive expansion, retention, and satisfaction.
  • Consult with business owners and operators to identify opportunities across operations, payments, and commerce.
  • Design and implement customized solutions that deliver measurable business results.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer by advocating for upmarket seller needs with Product, Engineering, and Operations teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Executives, Product Managers, and Solution Engineers to deliver integrated and scalable outcomes.
  • Visit customers in person when appropriate for negotiations and churn prevention.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts and pricing to support long-term success.
  • Deliver white-glove support by resolving critical issues and proactively driving engagement.
  • Develop tailored retention strategies for strategic accounts.
  • Work closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, and Marketing to support seller outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in sales or account management, ideally within SaaS, payments, or POS technology.
  • Proven success growing and retaining a book of business.
  • Consistent overperformance on key metrics and revenue targets.
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills.
  • Retail industry experience preferred, but not required.
  • Technical solutioning skills, including requirements gathering and translating customer needs into scalable solutions.
  • Demonstrated success retaining and expanding strategic accounts.
  • Experience negotiating contracts and pricing with senior stakeholders.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with storytelling as a central part of the role.
  • Creative, strategic problem-solver who thrives in ambiguous environments.
  • Growth mindset, empathetic collaborator, and positive team player.

  • Starting pay is market-based, with U.S. salary ranges of $135,200-$202,800 for Zone A, $125,800-$188,600 for Zone B, $119,000-$178,400 for Zone C, and $108,200-$162,200 for Zone D.
