Description

  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new commercial manufacturing opportunities for oral solid drug products.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects aligned with the company’s technical capabilities and capacity strategy.
  • Conduct initial technical and commercial assessments to evaluate project fit.
  • Lead term sheet development and negotiate commercial supply agreements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned commercial accounts and manage client relationships.
  • Guide clients through onboarding, tech transfer, validation, launch, and ongoing supply.
  • Collaborate with technical operations, quality, supply chain, finance, and legal teams to support project execution.
  • Monitor account progress, identify risks or bottlenecks, and drive timely resolution.
  • Manage renewals, amendments, pricing, proposals, and long-term supply agreements.
  • Maintain CRM records, pipeline reporting, demand planning, and revenue forecasting.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of oral solid dose (OSD) drug development and commercial manufacturing processes.
  • Working knowledge of GMP requirements, quality systems, and regulatory expectations.
  • Ability to interpret technical data, batch records, and manufacturing requirements.
  • Familiarity with tech transfer, validation, and commercial supply operations.
  • Proven ability to manage complex accounts and long-cycle commercial relationships.
  • Experience negotiating term sheets, pricing, and commercial supply agreements.
  • Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, revenue planning, and capacity management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong presentation/client-facing skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline, business, or marketing.
  • 3–7 years of experience in account management, business development, or client-facing roles within a CDMO, pharmaceutical, or biotech environment.
  • Experience supporting or managing commercial-stage drug products preferred.
  • Background in oral solid dose manufacturing or related pharmaceutical operations preferred.
  • Demonstrated success in negotiating commercial agreements or long-term supply contracts.
  • Experience with CRM systems, forecasting tools, and pipeline reporting.
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%, with travel sometimes exceeding 50%; domestic travel with potential international travel.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship is available.
