Description

  • Build lasting relationships with existing enterprise sellers to retain business and expand Square’s presence across key accounts.
  • Own a managed book of business, including prioritization, contracting, technology strategy, and ongoing account management.
  • Identify seller challenges and growth opportunities, and use Square’s product portfolio to support up-sell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Partner with sales colleagues to onboard and grow newly acquired high-value sellers.
  • Act as the voice of the seller by analyzing product performance and sharing feedback to inform product roadmap decisions.
  • Advocate for customers internally and coordinate with product, engineering, finance, implementation, marketing, legal, and sales teams.
  • Work with senior decision-makers across business owner, IT, finance, and operations functions.
  • Negotiate win-win solutions that support customer success and account growth.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in account management, business development, consulting, partnerships, or sales focused on technical products.
  • Significant experience managing enterprise-level accounts.
  • Experience achieving revenue goals across both growth and retention.
  • Experience collaborating internally on complex enterprise deals or partnerships.
  • Experience gathering requirements with enterprise customers and building business cases for feature development with product teams.
  • Formal sales methodology training.
  • Experience supporting go-to-market efforts for new products.
  • Experience in the Hospitality and/or Food & Beverage industry.
  • Experience presenting to senior decision-makers, including business owners, IT, finance, and operations leaders.
  • Experience managing projects with multiple company partners on behalf of customers.
