Description

  • Exceed quarterly renewal and upsell goals.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships and ownership of customer success with Acquia platform services.
  • Guide customers through onboarding of products and services.
  • Maintain account direction and strategy.
  • Build relationships with strategic, leadership-level customer contacts.
  • Identify new opportunities and work to close them.
  • Coordinate with business users and procurement to ensure timely renewals.
  • Update and maintain the sales database as needed.
  • Proactively drive accounts with minimal oversight.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams across sales, pre-sales, technical support, customer success, professional services, operations, and finance.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a sales or account management role for a technology company.
  • Experience in education and government is a plus.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, communication, and cross-group collaboration skills.
  • Proven track record of sustaining and growing complex relationships, including renewals and upsell/cross-sell opportunities.
  • Prior experience procuring contracts with educational institutions and/or government preferred.
  • Experience owning and exceeding a renewals quota.
  • Experience owning and exceeding ACV upsell/cross-sell quota.
  • Strong renewal forecasting and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-starter who can set and manage priorities.
  • Proficiency with MS Office or G Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with SFDC, Gainsight, Jira, and similar tools.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
