Description

  • Develop and execute your own outbound sales strategy to build a book of business.
  • Source leads through cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, and other outbound prospecting activities.
  • Conduct discovery calls, demos, and consultative sales conversations to understand merchant needs.
  • Create tailored solutions using Square’s offerings and partner products to meet prospect requirements.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting through close and ensure successful onboarding with partner teams.
  • Build strong relationships with prospects and, when needed, work in the field to improve win rates.
  • Partner with Business Development to convert and close cold outbound leads.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly sales goals and KPIs through proactive outbound sales efforts.
  • Collaborate with Product and Marketing teams to align solutions with market needs.
  • Track, monitor, and report on sales activity, pipeline status, and outcomes in Salesforce.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling a diverse ecosystem of products.
  • Ability to work independently and drive deals in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Business development experience, including new logo sourcing and acquisition.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with prospects.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent CRM experience.

  • Starting pay range of $156,200-$234,200 in Zone A, $145,200-$217,800 in Zone B, $137,400-$206,200 in Zone C, or $129,600-$194,400 in Zone D, including target variable compensation.
