Description

  • Own the strategy and end-to-end sales process for expanding AlphaSense’s most strategic accounts across APAC.
  • Build executive-level relationships and construct business cases to support enterprise deployments.
  • Develop and execute a value-based enterprise sales motion, including champion building, deal management, and closing new business.
  • Research opportunities, prospect, initiate discussions, conduct demos, manage evaluations, and close deals.
  • Partner with SDRs to create prospecting plans and drive pipeline generation.
  • Forecast accurately and help build the pipeline needed to meet or exceed team quota.
  • Work closely with Account Management to support customer health and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Become an expert on customer needs, use cases, market dynamics, competition, and product differentiation.
  • Collaborate with a global account leader and cross-functional pod members to drive regional expansion.

Requirements

  • Previous experience owning a book of new business, ideally in a value-based enterprise sales motion.
  • Strong track record of success in a SaaS sales environment.
  • Ability to explain complex business data and concepts to a non-research audience.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills across all levels of an organization.
  • Natural tenacity, a hard-working mindset, and a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with pod members and cross-functional partners.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to uncover business challenges through thoughtful questioning.
  • Openness to feedback and a desire for continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Japanese is strongly preferred.
