Description

  • Create and execute an outbound strategy to source leads and build a book of business (cold calling, cold emailing, social selling, etc.).
  • Conduct prospecting, discovery calls, product demos, and develop consultative solutions using first- and third-party offerings.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close and partner with other teams to ensure successful onboarding.
  • Partner with the Business Development team to convert and close cold, outbound leads.
  • Go into the field as needed to build relationships and increase win rates with restaurant merchants.
  • Deliver a predictable, repeatable, and scalable outbound sales process to fill pipeline and meet targets.
  • Lead the go-to-market effort introducing Square to merchants in the restaurant vertical.
  • Partner with Product and Marketing to ensure solutions meet market needs and inform strategy.
  • Use Salesforce to track, monitor, and report on sales activities, pipeline status, and outcomes.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of sales experience in a full-cycle closing role.
  • BA/BS degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and closing complex deals.
  • Experience selling a diverse ecosystem of products and managing multi-product solutions.
  • Business development experience with new-logo sourcing and acquisition.
  • Ability to drive deals independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work as a self-starter.
  • Prior Salesforce experience or equivalent CRM proficiency.
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation skills, and diligence; willingness to do field visits and outbound prospecting.
