Description

  • Develop and execute a holistic partner strategy with Product and GTM teams, including partner integrations and channel partnerships.
  • Own partnerships end-to-end, from business development through partner launch and ongoing management.
  • Track and deliver against quarterly KPIs and business objectives.
  • Become an expert on Square’s products, market landscape, and seller needs.
  • Determine the right mix of partner benefits, incentives, and co-marketing or sales opportunities to close partnership deals.
  • Work autonomously as both a proactive executor and strategic thinker.
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Advocate for partners while balancing Square’s business goals.
  • Build and manage relationships with senior business leaders internally and externally.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in the technology sector.
  • 3+ years of experience in partnerships at a technology company.
  • Experience with API integrations and/or channel partnerships is required.
  • Proven ability to negotiate, sign, launch, and manage partnerships from tactical opportunities to complex strategic partners.
  • Experience growing and distributing new products with partners through economic incentives and collaboration with sales and marketing teams.
  • Experience working cross-functionally and delivering results at scale.
  • Experience building relationships with senior business leaders internally and externally.
  • Highly entrepreneurial and proactive, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to think and communicate creatively and thoughtfully with technical and non-technical audiences across all organizational levels.
