Description

  • Manage a book of approximately 175 strategic food and beverage sellers.
  • Grow account-based revenue through use-case expansion, cross-sell opportunities, and customized onboarding experiences.
  • Serve as the voice of the upmarket seller with product teams.
  • Act as a consultant and partner to high-value restaurant sellers to help them achieve their goals.
  • Identify technical Square solutions for customer needs and project manage implementation with cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with Strategic Account Executives on high-growth deals.
  • Negotiate pricing for expansion opportunities and seller retention.
  • Provide white-glove client service and troubleshooting to resolve seller issues.
  • Inform operations and program design for the segment at scale.
  • Conduct quarterly business reviews with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant account management experience.
  • Experience managing, retaining, and growing a book of business.
  • Consistent over-performance on key sales or customer success metrics.
  • Strong discovery skills and genuine curiosity about customers' businesses.
  • Ability to use a technical solutioning framework, including requirements gathering.
  • Proven experience managing multiple internal projects with engineering, product, and finance teams.
  • Experience with contract and/or pricing negotiations with external senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative and strategic problem-solving ability in ambiguous situations without a playbook.
  • Restaurant experience and/or food and beverage technology experience preferred.
