Description

  • Lead the development and implementation of advanced predictive and business models to support strategic decisions.
  • Manage project timelines and deliverables to ensure timely completion of data science initiatives.
  • Prioritize model development efforts based on business impact and strategic objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into modelable exercises and serve as the liaison between engineering and business teams.
  • Develop and execute post-development model performance testing and monitoring frameworks.
  • Collaborate with machine learning engineering teams to build and maintain robust end-to-end data pipelines.
  • Conduct early-stage analysis to identify key drivers and features that inform model design.
  • Own parallel modeling efforts to ensure alignment with business expectations and reporting.
  • Explore and prototype improvements to business analytics using LLMs and other productivity tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or Master’s degree with 3+ years of experience in finance, economic analysis, data science, or a related field focused on applying analytic tools to business problems.
  • Expertise in forecasting, predictive modeling, and value estimation using statistical and ML-based methods.
  • Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with libraries such as scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, and pandas/numpy.
  • Experience with SQL, GitHub, and Databricks; familiarity with Streamlit and Prefect is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business strategy and economic insight into modelable solutions.
  • Experience building or working with end-to-end data pipelines and production ML workflows.
  • Experience with model validation, performance testing, and monitoring frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.

  • Salary (U.S., zone-based): Zone A $163,600–$245,400; Zone B $155,400–$233,200; Zone C $147,300–$220,900; Zone D $139,000–$208,600 USD.
