Description

  • Manage, mentor, and grow three direct reports while supporting the development of the broader Data Science team.
  • Collaborate on complex analytical problems independently and with teammates.
  • Write and optimize R, Python, or SQL scripts for data processing.
  • Adapt existing tools and methods to meet changing business needs and balance workloads across projects.
  • Collect, aggregate, and manipulate data from multiple sources.
  • Apply analytical, machine learning, and statistical techniques to derive insights and support decisions.
  • Create clear visualizations and reports from analytical findings.
  • Work with internal and external teams to clarify requirements, solve problems, and develop tailored solutions.
  • Document project status and updates in JIRA or similar tools.
  • Communicate findings through written reports, presentations, and team discussions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, or a comparable field.
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or social science field.
  • Master's degree or PhD preferred.
  • 3+ years of coding experience.
  • 2+ years of coding specifically in R or Python.
  • Advanced coding skill in Python or R.
  • 1+ years of people management or people mentorship experience.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Marketing, and Visualizations preferred.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, problem solving, empathy, and leadership skills preferred.
  • Must be currently authorized to work in the United States; no visa sponsorship available.

Benefits

  • Target cash compensation of $136,000-$168,000 USD annually.
  • Base salary plus variable commission for eligible roles and annual bonus targets for eligible roles.
  • Equity plan with stock options for all full-time employees.
  • Hybrid and flexible workplace policy.
  • Fully remote work available for roles not office-based and located farther from company offices.
  • Hybrid schedule with 1-3 days per week in the office for employees near Bellevue, WA or New York, NY.
