Description

  • Oversee one or more cross-discipline feature teams.
  • Establish and maintain team schedules while evaluating capacity and mitigating risk on a daily basis.
  • Manage resource requirements, define dependencies, and balance priorities across the team.
  • Partner with technical and creative leadership to keep project vision, deliverables, and goals clear.
  • Maintain regular communication with the project team and coordinate dependencies with stakeholders.
  • Manage scope and quality throughout the production process.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a producer or project manager role.
  • Strong technical appreciation for software used in game, media, or digital entertainment development.
  • Demonstrable experience managing short- and long-term scope and capacity.
  • Proven ability to prepare mitigation and contingency plans before problems occur.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for games and game development.
  • Experience with project management methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.
  • Effective communication skills across all levels and disciplines.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic and collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience preferred.
  • Experience in cross-platform development environments preferred.
  • At least 2 shipped AAA game projects preferred.
  • Experience with Hansoft, JIRA, or similar project management tools preferred.
  • Lean/Agile certifications preferred.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $100,000 to $115,000 per year.
