Description

  • Establish and maintain the product schedule and roadmap.
  • Manage project scope, quality, risks, resources, dependencies, and priorities.
  • Define, drive, and own milestones and other key project deliverables.
  • Partner with technical and creative leaders to keep the project on vision, on time, and on budget.
  • Evaluate development processes and iterate when the team or product needs to evolve.
  • Oversee cross-discipline feature teams and manage scope and capacity on a daily basis.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships and communication channels with internal stakeholders, publishers, and external partners.
  • Mentor, coach, and support producers and other team members.
  • Champion production process improvements that increase quality and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a producer or project manager role across full-cycle projects.
  • Proven track record of successful game releases.
  • Strong understanding of the game development cycle from pre-production through release and beyond.
  • Experience leading medium to large development teams.
  • Ability to develop and manage clear, adaptable project schedules and delivery plans using appropriate project management methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
  • Experience working directly with external and publisher stakeholders.
  • Strong communication skills across all levels and disciplines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, collaborative environment.
  • Passion and enthusiasm for games and game development.
  • Experience with cross-platform development environments, concept and prototype phases, third-person tactical shooters, and at least 2 shipped AAA game projects are preferred.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, Hansoft, Jira, or similar project management tools is preferred.
  • Lean/Agile certifications are preferred.
  • University degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and reside within Canada.
  • Pacific-time overlap is required for this remote-friendly role.

Benefits

  • Remote-first workplace with flexible work arrangements.
  • Salary range of $125,000 to $160,000 per year.
