Description

  • Collaborate with Solutions Architects to understand prioritized customer use cases and demand plans.
  • Lead post-sale technical account strategy and execution for strategic customer accounts.
  • Own technical accountability for specific customer use cases across multiple selling teams and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive onboarding, enablement, go-live, and healthy consumption for workloads running on Databricks.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for technical issues and questions related to production and go-live status.
  • Coordinate Shared Services, User Education, Onboarding/Technical Services, Support, and expert technical resources as needed.
  • Create and execute plans to accelerate key use cases into production, including coordination with Professional Services.
  • Navigate Databricks Product and Engineering teams for product innovations, private previews, and upgrade needs.
  • Develop customer-facing execution plans covering adoption, enablement, cloud cost control, tuning, optimization, and governance.
  • Provide internal and external KPI updates on usage, customer health, risks, and use case progression.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • 7+ years of experience delivering technical projects or programs in Data and AI.
  • Ability to contribute to technical debate and design decisions with customers.
  • Programming experience in Python, SQL, or Scala.
  • Experience in a customer-facing pre-sales, technical architecture, customer success, or consulting role.
  • Understanding of solution architecture for distributed data systems.
  • Experience attributing business value and outcomes to project deliverables.
  • Experience in technical program or project management with account, stakeholder, and resource management accountability.
  • Experience resolving complex escalations with senior customer executives.
  • Experience conducting discovery workshops, creating strategic roadmaps, performing business analysis, and managing complex programs or projects.
  • Track record of overachievement against quota, goals, or similar targets.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% when needed.

  • Base salary range of $180,000 to $247,500 USD.
