Description

  • Deploy network, hardware, and software solutions for Axon Fleet customers.
  • Work directly with customers in a post-sale, front-line implementation role.
  • Monitor software implementation lifecycles and support appropriate customizations.
  • Conduct training for customer technical contacts and end users on Axon product applications.
  • Create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning of communication systems.
  • Coordinate and execute field commissioning tests with customers.
  • Deliver timely and detailed deployment reports.
  • Engage with public-safety and IT decision makers during site deployments.
  • Escalate product issues and irregularities to Product Managers.
  • Troubleshoot applications, computers, networks, and products.
  • Validate the quality of 12V DC subcontractor installations.
  • Train customers on the installation and use of Axon Fleet components and products.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of advanced computer network implementation experience.
  • Experience with systems software, Windows operating systems, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
  • A+, Network+ or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Basic understanding of 12-volt DC circuit theory preferred.
  • Experience with electrical wiring diagrams and mechanical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Emergency Vehicle Technician, similar ASE Electronics certifications, or military electronics technician experience preferred.
  • Experience with Cradlepoint router configuration, implementation, and deployment.
  • Cradlepoint Network Associate and Cradlepoint Network Professional certifications preferred.
  • Familiarity with WAN access types, LAN, physical layer infrastructure, wireless technologies, access point networks, and VPNs.
  • Experience implementing and deploying products in IP-based Ethernet networks, including layer 2, layer 3, LAN, WAN, and VPN.
  • Ability to work from any location with minimal oversight.
  • Ability to stand, bend, stoop for up to 8 hours a day, and lift or carry tools up to 75 lbs. regularly.
  • Flexibility to take on additional projects and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel on the road 100% Monday through Friday within the U.S.
  • Willingness to meet clients in person weekly and live within reasonable proximity to a major airport.
  • A valid driver’s license is required and must be maintained throughout employment.
  • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.

  • Starting base pay of $66,000 to $105,600 USD, depending on location and other factors.
