Description

  • Partner with the VP of Commercial Sales–Prenatal to set strategy, annual plans, and the operating cadence for the field organization.
  • Lead territory design and quarterly rebalancing for a 250-person sales team expanding into new geographies.
  • Own incentive compensation design and quarterly quota setting for the field sales organization.
  • Direct sales analytics, dashboards, and reporting in collaboration with the commercial data science team.
  • Translate field activity, deal outcomes, competitive signals, and product launches into actionable recommendations.
  • Build a highly leveraged operations function that uses AI to increase analytical output and efficiency.
  • Program-manage high-priority cross-functional initiatives such as acceleration programs, health system adoption, and EMR integration.
  • Serve as the liaison bringing field insights into Product, Marketing, and Market Access.
  • Provide dotted-line management to Salesforce admins supporting commercial data operations.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in sales strategy, commercial operations, revenue operations, or top-tier management consulting, with substantial experience partnering with senior sales leadership.
  • Proven experience designing territories, setting quotas, and building variable compensation plans for field sales organizations during rapid growth.
  • Strong analytical ability, including using AI for data analysis, building models in Excel, and debugging Salesforce reports.
  • Experience leading high-performing analytical teams, including data scientists or commercial analysts.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence across audiences from individual contributors to C-suite leaders.
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and iterating quickly by shipping a version 1 and improving it over time.
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience in molecular diagnostics, NGS, liquid biopsy, prenatal, or oncology commercial environments preferred.
  • Hands-on experience deploying AI tools such as LLMs, agents, or custom workflows inside commercial functions preferred.
  • Experience at a publicly traded company preferred.

  • Base salary range of $246,525 to $267,962 per year.
