Description

  • Prospect, cultivate, and engage new and existing clients to sell Azul enterprise products (Azul Platform Core and Azul Platform Prime).
  • Work closely with Lead Development Reps to generate and advance new sales opportunities.
  • Build and maintain a 3X quota pipeline for the assigned territory (Massachusetts, New Jersey, Pennsylvania).
  • Manage the full sales cycle and consistently close business on a monthly and quarterly basis.
  • Win competitive deals by collaborating with local Sales Engineers during technical and commercial evaluations.
  • Sell both entry-level deals (~$50K) and large enterprise deals (7-figure), adapting approach to deal size.
  • Operate as an individual-contributor quota-carrying salesperson accountable for territory targets and commission attainment.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • 10+ years of proven experience selling Enterprise Applications or DevOps solutions in the Northeast U.S.
  • Proven experience selling both entry-level (~$50K) and 7-figure enterprise deals.
  • Consistent track record of overachieving quota and producing strong historical income/performance results.
  • Experience with open source technologies and active involvement in the Java community is a plus.
  • Familiarity with middleware, big data technologies (Cassandra, Hadoop) and search platforms (SOLR, Elastic) is a plus.
  • Ability to work remotely while covering the assigned Northeast territory (#LI-Remote).
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of reference and background checks.
