Description

  • Increase utilization of UNITY Fetal Risk Screen and drive market development through direct sales to OBGYNs, MFMs, and genetic counselors.
  • Identify, develop, and manage commercial relationships with key opinion leaders and other healthcare professionals.
  • Prospect, cultivate new business, and maintain key customer relationships.
  • Identify and pursue commercial growth opportunities across a defined region, including clinics, hospital systems, and Federally Qualified Health Centers.
  • Create and execute a strategic business plan to grow utilization in the territory.
  • Manage the full sales cycle, including new business development and lead generation.
  • Attend local tradeshows, industry conferences, and networking events.
  • Deliver clinical information to external clients and internal teams.
  • Work independently while coordinating logistics and solving customer needs in a consultative sales approach.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of outside field sales experience in the healthcare sector calling on providers in a specified geographic territory.
  • Proven sales track record with strong understanding of buyer and decision-maker types.
  • Strong selling, listening, and presentation skills with the ability to assess and respond to customer needs.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to assess and prioritize opportunities.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically with strong interpersonal and analytical skills.
  • High sense of urgency and focus on closing business.
  • Ability to assess the needs of medical professionals and staff through consultative sales, logistics coordination, and problem solving.
  • Strong desire to work in a startup environment and ability to work independently.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA, privacy, and ethics related to patient information.
  • Professional discretion in handling patient and physician information and documentation.
  • Experience in a startup environment, women’s health background, clinical laboratory experience, or a convertible book of business are preferred.

  • Total compensation of $184,569 - $248,269 per year at plan, including a base salary of $136,869 - $163,269.
