Description

  • Act as the primary HR point of contact for UK/EMEA managers and employees, providing strategic and operational guidance.
  • Build trusted relationships with business leaders to design and implement people-related strategies and drive HR priorities.
  • Partner with global HR, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and HR Operations to shape and deliver UK/EMEA-specific programs and ensure consistent service delivery.
  • Lead complex employee relations cases and advise on disciplinary, grievance, performance management, leave management, harassment, discrimination, redundancy and restructuring matters.
  • Manage and advise on TUPE and other transfers, contractor engagement (including IR35 and similar assessments across EMEA), and end-to-end redundancy consultations.
  • Provide data-driven insights and leverage AI-enabled HR tools ethically to inform decisions, improve efficiency, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Design and support wellbeing, engagement and inclusion initiatives (e.g., mental health, workload, work–life balance, family-friendly policies) and local engagement/recognition activities.
  • Support organizational design, workforce planning, succession planning, and change management initiatives, including integrations or M&A activities where required.
  • Deliver and lead HR processes and projects including performance reviews, compensation cycles, benefits administration, compliance audits, policy development, and HR modernization efforts.

Requirements

  • CIPD Level 7 qualification (or working towards) or equivalent experience demonstrating expert-level HR knowledge and practice across UK and other EMEA jurisdictions.
  • Sustained experience as a senior HR generalist with deep, up-to-date expertise in employee relations, benefits, and UK employment law.
  • Proven track record in HR business partnering, ideally within technology, software, or professional services environments.
  • Practical experience handling contractor engagement and IR35 (and similar EMEA) assessments, TUPE transfers, redundancy consultations, and complex restructures.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex employee relations cases and advise confidently on legal and compliance issues, partnering with internal/external counsel as needed.
  • Experience supporting organizational change, integrations, or M&A activities (highly desirable).
  • Advanced coaching, consulting, relationship-building and influencing skills with strong communication and negotiation abilities and an inclusive style.
  • Comfortable using AI-enabled HR tools (analytics, drafting, automation) with good judgement about when and how to use them.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with HR data and metrics, plus a strategic mindset paired with hands-on execution and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Willingness to work across geographies and time zones as part of a global team and to travel within the UK/EMEA and occasionally intercontinentally.
