Description

  • Lead a team of Key Account Executives covering Axon’s most strategic state and local law enforcement accounts.
  • Recruit, onboard, coach, and develop sales talent while building a high-performance culture.
  • Set team expectations for territory planning, pipeline hygiene, prospecting, and ecosystem selling.
  • Build and execute the go-to-market strategy for the strategic accounts segment.
  • Define account segmentation, coverage models, and territory design to maximize growth and customer impact.
  • Drive multi-product, multi-year enterprise agreements across the strategic accounts segment.
  • Own forecast accuracy and segment performance against quarterly and annual bookings targets.
  • Establish and enforce pipeline standards, operating cadences, and deal review processes.
  • Serve as executive sponsor on high-impact opportunities and renewals.
  • Build relationships with law enforcement, procurement, IT, and political stakeholders and coordinate cross-functional deal teams.
  • Partner with Product, Marketing, Sales Strategy, Revenue Intelligence, and Customer Success to identify opportunities and influence roadmap priorities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in enterprise or strategic sales.
  • At least 5+ years of frontline sales team leadership experience.
  • Proven success leading high-performing teams in complex, multi-product environments.
  • Experience selling to public sector or SLED customers is strongly preferred, especially state and local law enforcement or adjacent public safety markets.
  • Demonstrated success exceeding multi-million-dollar bookings and revenue targets.
  • Experience guiding teams through long, complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and formal procurement.
  • Ability to structure multi-year, multi-product agreements that balance customer outcomes and company growth.
  • Strong operational discipline in pipeline management, forecasting, and territory planning.
  • Excellent executive presence and communication skills with the ability to present to C-level leaders, elected officials, command staff, and executives.
  • Must live within an hour of a major airport in the Northeast region and be on the road 40-60% of the time.
  • Some roles may require legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment.
