Description

  • Own and execute strategy for a multi-state Corrections territory, including account planning for large-scale operational transformation.
  • Develop territory and account strategies to grow revenue and expand market presence across high-impact agencies.
  • Lead complex, multi-year sales cycles and position Axon’s solutions as a strategic priority for customers.
  • Build and maintain executive-level relationships across multiple stakeholders within state agencies.
  • Identify, shape, and close high-value opportunities while navigating procurement, budget cycles, and regulatory complexity.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including product, technical, legal, and leadership partners, to win complex deals.
  • Sell a portfolio of integrated solutions and communicate the business impact of Axon’s ecosystem.
  • Drive pipeline strategy, forecasting accuracy, and territory performance to exceed targets.
  • Expand relationships across agencies through multi-threaded networking and long-term partnership building.
  • Share customer insights, competitive intelligence, and market trends to inform internal go-to-market strategy.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience with a track record of consistently exceeding targets in enterprise or public sector environments.
  • Proven success owning and scaling a multi-state or highly strategic territory.
  • Experience leading large, complex, multi-threaded sales cycles with executive stakeholders, procurement, and cross-functional buying groups.
  • Experience closing high-value, multi-year deals within large and complex organizations.
  • Ability to drive transformation in legacy or highly regulated environments through new technology adoption.
  • Ability to sell with a strong point of view and create urgency in slow-moving organizations.
  • Experience selling complex, multi-product or platform solutions and translating technical capabilities into business outcomes.
  • Track record of leading team-based sales motions and orchestrating internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience building executive-level relationships and serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce to manage pipeline strategy, forecasting, and territory performance.
  • Familiarity with public sector, Corrections, or Law Enforcement sales cycles, including budget cycles and RFPs, is a plus.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
