Description

  • Partner with the Key Account Leader and broader sales team to drive complex law enforcement engagements.
  • Act as a strategic advisor to senior public safety leaders on Air product deployments.
  • Manage critical partner relationships, including Axon’s Skydio partnership, to support integrated outcomes.
  • Develop a deep technical understanding of Axon’s Air products and related technology offerings.
  • Generate leads and pursue opportunities using sources such as Google Alerts, RFP requests, and other intelligence channels.
  • Build and execute account strategies with the team to strengthen value propositions.
  • Maintain customer relationships by understanding workflows, building contact networks, and driving customer satisfaction.
  • Forecast sales activity, provide timely account updates, and share competitor intelligence and marketing feedback.
  • Track customer activity in Salesforce and other internal systems to support account strategy and opportunity identification.
  • Own and grow a multi-state territory with a high level of autonomy and cross-functional influence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent applicable experience.
  • 5+ years in a SaaS Account Executive role.
  • Experience with Salesforce or an equivalent CRM.
  • Highly proficient computer skills, including MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong organization and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel 60% or more within the territory, including 3-4 days per week and overnights.
  • Strong understanding of drones, cloud, and virtualization technology.
  • Experience with solution-oriented, consultative sales processes.
  • End-to-end sales experience, especially in prospecting, discovery, objection handling, and closing.
  • Ability to strategically win new accounts and expand existing accounts.
  • Ability to work in an entrepreneurial fashion within a new initiative.
  • Startup experience and vertical experience are a plus.
  • Legal eligibility to work in a firearms environment may be required for some roles.
