Description

  • Build and maintain production Android applications using Kotlin.
  • Integrate AI-powered features such as chat, vision, voice, and recommendation systems through backend APIs.
  • Design intuitive user experiences for AI interactions, including streaming responses, retries, and partial results.
  • Optimize application performance, memory usage, and responsiveness for AI-intensive workflows.
  • Implement analytics, logging, and user feedback mechanisms to support continuous AI evaluation and product improvement.
  • Collaborate closely with backend and machine learning engineers to define API integrations and system behavior.
  • Ensure application stability, security, and scalability within production environments.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of Android application development experience using Kotlin.
  • Hands-on experience integrating AI-powered features such as Large Language Models (LLMs), computer vision, or speech APIs.
  • Strong understanding of asynchronous programming using Coroutines and Flow.
  • Experience working with RESTful or gRPC APIs and structured data formats.
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance profiling skills.
  • Experience developing applications that operate reliably under latency, partial failures, and non-deterministic behavior.
  • Familiarity with ML Kit or lightweight on-device inference is an advantage.
  • Experience publishing and maintaining production applications on the Google Play Store.
  • Preferred experience with Kotlin/Java.
  • Preferred experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Preferred experience with TensorFlow Lite for on-device inference.
