Description

  • Own brand strategy direction across major accounts or portfolios, including vision, priorities, and strategic direction.
  • Lead development of brand positioning, messaging architecture, and brand narratives for integrated execution.
  • Advise clients on high-stakes brand decisions and navigate complex stakeholder dynamics.
  • Partner with Engagement Strategy, Creative, Medical/Scientific, Analytics, and Account leadership to activate brand strategy.
  • Guide teams through complex strategic challenges, escalation points, and course corrections.
  • Ensure brand strategy remains aligned during execution and adapts to client and market needs.
  • Mentor and develop VPs, Senior Directors, and Directors to strengthen account-level strategy leadership.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of brand strategy experience, including leadership of complex client accounts.
  • Demonstrated ownership of brand strategy outcomes and influence on senior-level client decisions.
  • Strong people leadership skills, including mentoring and developing senior strategists in high-pressure environments.
  • Executive presence and credibility with clients and internal leaders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate insights into decisive brand direction.
  • Ability and willingness to travel periodically, generally up to 20%.
