Description

  • Share advancement best practices across advancement services, development, prospect research, and related areas.
  • Serve as a visible industry authority in advancement business functions, digital transformation, and innovation.
  • Develop and publish thought leadership content such as articles, blogs, white papers, and commentary.
  • Represent Attain Partners as a speaker at industry conferences, webinars, and forums.
  • Elevate the Attain Digital brand and expand its presence across the market sector.
  • Strengthen Attain’s credibility as a trusted advisor to mission-driven organizations.
  • Contribute insights that resonate with industry executives, boards, and senior leaders.
  • Identify emerging trends, challenges, and opportunities within the market landscape.
  • Provide perspective that informs market strategy, service development, and go-to-market approach.
  • Collaborate closely with business development to shape client relationships and communicate Attain Partners’ value.
  • Consult on Advancement topics to help institutions and foundations assess organizational structure, resourcing needs, fundraising best practices, and technology opportunities.

Requirements

  • At least 15 years of experience working in advancement with or at a U.S.-based university.
  • At least 5 years of experience as an executive in a higher education institution with direct responsibility for delivering advancement-focused CRM solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Defined experience deploying Salesforce-based solutions, including CRM and Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience with Kindsight/ascend or Affiniquest strongly preferred.
  • Strong track record as a respected practitioner or executive in advancement.
  • Ability to bring deep functional expertise to strategic projects and client-facing work.
  • Availability for a 15–20 hour per month commitment on an annual appointment basis.
