Description

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable enterprise applications and backend services.
  • Develop robust microservices and scalable RESTful APIs.
  • Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure software is secure, high-quality, and maintainable.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver solutions.
  • Work with distributed systems and modern backend frameworks in a cloud environment.
  • Support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders in a remote setting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Java software development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and object-oriented programming principles.
  • Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security, and Hibernate.
  • Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, backend services, and microservices-based applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Familiarity with messaging and streaming technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools.
  • Strong understanding of software design patterns, multithreading, performance optimization, and distributed systems concepts.
  • Experience supporting CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software delivery practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work successfully in a remote environment aligned with U.S. time zones.
  • Preferred experience with frontend technologies such as React, Angular, or other modern JavaScript frameworks.
  • Preferred experience with CI/CD and DevOps tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Preferred familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB, or Redis.
  • Preferred experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.
  • Preferred knowledge of domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, DevSecOps, and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
  • Preferred experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or enterprise SaaS environments.
