Description

  • Own AWS cloud infrastructure, including VPCs, EC2, queues, DocumentDB, load balancers, security groups, Kubernetes clusters, and container repositories.
  • Build and manage Jenkins jobs and CI/CD pipelines that produce deployment artifacts such as ZIP packages and Docker images.
  • Maintain Kubernetes deployment configurations and automate operational tasks with Linux utility scripts.
  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications using C#, T-SQL, Vue, HTML, and CSS.
  • Support and troubleshoot issues across the UI, API, database, messaging, and deployment layers.
  • Build and maintain core services on ServiceStack and the LLBLGen ORM data-access layer.
  • Customize and support platform-integrated applications such as Umbraco and Identity Server.
  • Maintain integrations between internal systems and external platforms and manage Git-based source control workflows.
  • Design and support event-based, message-driven architecture using MassTransit and messaging brokers such as Amazon SQS, RabbitMQ, and Apache MQ.
  • Mentor engineers, lead technical decisions, and partner with engineering leadership on releases, onboarding, and team growth.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in software, DevOps, or platform engineering, including time as a senior individual contributor or technical lead.
  • Hands-on experience managing AWS infrastructure, including VPCs, EC2, Kubernetes, load balancers, and network security controls such as firewalls, WAF, and network ACLs.
  • Strong full-stack development skills in C# and T-SQL.
  • Experience building services with ServiceStack and the LLBLGen ORM.
  • Supporting experience with Vue, HTML, and CSS.
  • Proven CI/CD experience with Jenkins.
  • Strong command of Docker and Kubernetes operations, including kubectl and YAML deployment configurations.
  • Linux scripting experience for operational tasks.
  • Experience with SQL Server, MongoDB/DocumentDB, and event-based, message-driven systems such as MassTransit, Amazon SQS, RabbitMQ, or Apache MQ.
  • Proficiency with GitHub or GitLab branching strategies, code reviews, and coordinated deployments.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and lead technical decisions.
  • Experience using AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot or Devin (strongly preferred).
  • Familiarity with CMS and identity platforms such as Umbraco and Identity Server (strongly preferred).
  • Experience supporting complex distributed applications through development, deployment, and production troubleshooting (strongly preferred).
