Description

  • Provide expert technical guidance to customers and sales peers on Armada’s products and services.
  • Understand client challenges and propose solutions that meet their needs.
  • Lead technical demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, and workshops for prospective customers.
  • Collaborate with sales on customer engagements, technical scoping, and proposal development.
  • Align internal teams on solution strategy, resource prioritization, and business outcomes.
  • Build trusted relationships with technical decision makers and influencers at client organizations.
  • Stay current on industry trends, competitive developments, and emerging technologies.
  • Enable field teams with technical concepts, product features, and selling strategies.
  • Support sales representatives with ongoing resources for client interactions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in pre-sales, sales engineering, or solution architecture supporting technical products.
  • Conceptual understanding of networking and connectivity fundamentals, including IP addressing, firewalls, SD-WAN, and satellite or cellular communications such as Starlink or LTE/5G.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms, virtualization or containerization technologies, and modern enterprise infrastructure.
  • Proficiency in at least one technical domain such as AI/ML infrastructure, connected devices, or data center systems.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms, modern networking concepts, and containerization or virtualization technologies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and comfort navigating ambiguity.
  • Self-starter who can manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Willingness and ability to travel, including internationally, as needed.
  • Experience with modular and micro data center architectures, including integrating and scaling compute, storage, and networking systems.
  • Exposure to hybrid and distributed computing platforms such as Azure Stack Edge, and familiarity with VMware, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  • High-level understanding of AI and Edge AI solution design, including cameras, sensors, data quality, and compute estimation.
  • Familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and ONNX.
  • Basic experience with connected device ecosystems, remote asset deployments, telemetry integration, IoT sensors, camera systems, and connectivity options such as cellular/5G, Starlink, or SD-WAN.
  • Exposure to integration methods such as REST APIs, WebSockets, and SNMP.
  • Preferred experience with MEDDPICC, Challenger Sale, Command of the Message, or managing a sales process.
  • Preferred experience working with MSPs, telcos, oil and gas, or utilities.
  • Experience selling or working with physical products, including logistics, supply chain, import/export, and customs processes.
