Description

  • Produce email templates and push notifications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for a wide variety of clients.
  • Collaborate with email developers and customer success managers to resolve issues in email deployments.
  • Participate in email stand-ups to prioritize workload and ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Work directly with client teams to answer questions, field requests, and collaborate on work-in-progress tasks.
  • Ensure emails comply with client standards, email marketing best practices, and CAN-SPAM laws.
  • Test email messages using tools such as Litmus and Email on Acid to verify formats and templates.
  • Implement programs within marketing platforms and make mock API calls using tools such as Postman.
  • Handle edge cases and route users into different flows as required.
  • Develop CSS styling and platform-specific code to support dynamic logic inside templates.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of email production and development experience.
  • Mastery of HTML and CSS specific to email.
  • Proficiency with JSON.
  • Understanding of APIs, including how they work and how to make GET and POST calls.
  • Understanding of how data feeds work.
  • Knowledge of email code structure and responsive design for different devices.
  • Strong email etiquette and the ability to communicate testing, QC, and updates directly with clients.
  • Ability to take feedback, clarify requirements, and make repeated adjustments as needed.
  • Platform experience with Iterable, Braze, Klaviyo, Marketo, Simon Data, or Blueshift is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Liquid, Python, Handlebars, Django, or Jinja is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Photoshop and Figma is preferred.
