Description

  • Co-own integrations between SmithRx internal platforms and communication vendors such as Salesforce and Braze or Iterable.
  • Define and maintain data mapping logic for member fields used in communication templates.
  • Build, schedule, and deploy multi-channel communication journeys across email, SMS, and print.
  • Construct audience segments, configure trigger-based workflows, and manage ad hoc and always-on transactional messages.
  • Build automated checks and perform pre-flight testing to catch data anomalies before campaigns are sent.
  • Translate business and regulatory requirements into executable campaign workflows within communication platforms.
  • Manage data pipelines for multi-channel communications, including permissions and transactional sends.
  • Perform end-to-end campaign QA, including rendering tests, dynamic content validation, link tracking, and audience sizing checks.
  • Monitor campaign performance and deliverability in real time, and troubleshoot send bottlenecks, outages, and spam-trap issues.
  • Manage direct mail operations, including SFTP transfers, print-proof automation, and production timelines, and sync messages back to internal member records.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in high-volume B2C or B2B2C Marketing Ops, Comms Ops, or Transactional Messaging.
  • Hands-on experience actively deploying campaigns.
  • Proven experience building and routing complex, multi-step customer journeys and trigger-based campaigns in enterprise platforms.
  • Experience managing dynamic content at scale.
  • Experience administering multi-channel communications platforms such as Braze, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar tools.
  • Experience with handlebars or liquid templating and integrating communication platforms with other data sources.
  • Familiarity with campaign QA tools such as Litmus or Email on Acid.
  • Strong understanding of email and SMS deliverability and compliance best practices, including CAN-SPAM and TCPA.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience working with JSON and API-driven communication platforms such as Lob or MessageGears.
  • Security-first mindset when handling sensitive data and deployed messages.
