Description

  • Own the monthly reporting cycle, including GAAP financials and key SaaS and marketplace metrics.
  • Reconcile Revenue and Operator Fees to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain dashboards that track subscription health, cohort behavior, and margin trends.
  • Monitor subscription revenue recognition across plans, locations, and services.
  • Analyze Operator Fees as Cost of Revenue to protect and improve gross margin.
  • Track CAC, LTV, payback period, and contribution margin by acquisition channel and operator type.
  • Build renewal cohort models to monitor retention, expansion, and churn drivers.
  • Support budget-versus-actual analysis with clear variance commentary.
  • Lead rolling forecasts and support the annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly financial review materials for board meetings and executive leadership.
  • Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as business needs arise.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, preferably in SaaS, subscription-based, or marketplace business models.
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets modeling skills.
  • Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and FP&A platforms such as Adaptive, Mosaic, or Vena is preferred.
  • Strong analytical rigor and ability to identify root causes behind variances and margin movement.
  • Ability to explain financial concepts such as deferred revenue and operator fee impacts to non-finance stakeholders.
  • A scalability mindset with the ability to build processes and models that support 10x growth.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire; visa sponsorship is not provided.
  • Availability to work during Pacific Time (PST) business hours while being located anywhere in the United States.
