Description

  • Define, measure, and optimize Medicare Advantage unit economics in partnership with Actuarial, Growth, and Operations teams.
  • Develop and track multi-year cohort and plan-level financial views to improve unit costs and growth levers.
  • Lead annual planning and quarterly forecasting with leadership, actuarial, and operations partners.
  • Drive the monthly business review rhythm by evaluating reporting, initiative progress, budget alignment, and ROI.
  • Use financial insights to ensure operational actions are taken and performance is improved.
  • Evaluate high-stakes strategic projects and assess their value before capital is allocated.
  • Track strategic initiatives after funding to ensure they deliver projected value.
  • Own the Medicare Advantage financial model and reporting cadence.
  • Build scalable financial operating models, planning processes, and governance frameworks.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in healthcare, payer, or insurance environments.
  • Deep experience with Medicare Advantage.
  • Ability to connect complex actuarial data to operational outcomes.
  • Experience optimizing unit economics and capital allocation.
  • Proven track record as a trusted advisor to senior leadership.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to influence strategy through data-driven storytelling and financial discipline.
  • Ability to build scalable planning and governance frameworks from scratch.
  • Experience in evolving business models and high-agency environments.
  • Education, certifications, and work experience may be considered in final compensation decisions.
