Description

  • Set project impact, priorities, and timelines for high-priority operational initiatives.
  • Build and grow an engineering team while leading by example as the business scales.
  • Partner with senior leaders to bring structure, insight, and velocity to operational challenges.
  • Embed with engineers to understand workflows and identify critical bottlenecks and problems.
  • Identify, structure, and leverage data systems to build tailored data-driven solutions.
  • Develop operational applications that users can iterate on and use effectively.
  • Build the systems and infrastructure needed for applications to mature, roll out, and scale in the field.
  • Work with the corporate Analytics team to expand ontologies and generalize data and workflow applications across the company.
  • Develop test data infrastructure in collaboration with Flight Test and Engineering teams.
  • Architect and build fleet management tools for monitoring aircraft performance and reliability in the field.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in technical operating roles.
  • Proven record of owning projects end-to-end from ambiguity to scalable delivery.
  • Experience leading through influence and building high-performing teams.
  • Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Background in Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, or a similar field.
  • Deep interest in the intersection of analytics and physical hardware systems.
  • Self-starter mindset with a bias toward shipping practical solutions quickly.
  • Coding experience with Python, SQL, React, TypeScript, or equivalent technologies.
  • Exposure to data systems such as dbt, Redshift, Looker/Tableau, or Palantir Foundry.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
