Description

  • Manage technician staff through production, acceptance testing, and delivery of Anduril products.
  • Set daily priorities, issue work orders, clear blockers, and drive on-time completion of production goals.
  • Ensure operators follow safety procedures and standard work, and drive safety improvements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and complete daily transactions in production systems such as NetSuite and JIRA.
  • Provide weekly updates on production progress, blockers, risks, and needs.
  • Lead daily cross-functional communication with engineering, supply chain, logistics, quality, and technicians.
  • Support hands-on line work and new operator training as needed.
  • Coach, mentor, and support up to 30 production associates on shift.
  • Maintain standardized manufacturing instructions and control plans.
  • Support issue resolution through root cause investigation and corrective action tracking.
  • Ensure quality standards are met throughout the production process and prevent defects from leaving the work area.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience managing or supervising in a high-volume production environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of production rate, critical path analysis, and manufacturing fundamentals.
  • Understanding of product lifecycle from NPI to scaled production, LEAN manufacturing principles, and ECO change management.
  • Ability to interpret technical documentation such as mechanical drawings, work instructions, building plans, equipment specs, and electrical schematics.
  • Willingness to work hands-on with hardware as needed.
  • Experience troubleshooting processes and equipment in fast-changing production environments.
  • Passion for employee development and experience training both new hires and veteran production staff.
  • Experience supporting process development and equipment maintenance.
  • Knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing, or Six Sigma principles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
  • Must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for export-controlled information or facilities.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as engineering, business, or applied science (preferred).
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification (preferred).
  • Working knowledge of AS9100 standards and OSHA laws (preferred).
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical assembly and integration (preferred).
  • Forklift and 3A Hoisting certification (preferred).
  • Experience ramping low-volume manufacturing to high-rate production (preferred).
  • Extensive hiring and organizational design experience (preferred).
