Description

  • Generate and capture business opportunities for the Surface Platform portfolio.
  • Plan, initiate, and manage ongoing engagements with current clients and prospective customers.
  • Monitor customer buying cycles and identify opportunities to advance pursuits.
  • Support proposals and new customer efforts by authoring and reviewing RFI, RFP, RFWP, and other responses.
  • Partner with adjacent business lines and product engineers to grow business with existing clients.
  • Represent Anduril’s value proposition to clients, partners, competitors, and the public.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers and the engineering organization to translate needs into actionable plans and product roadmaps.
  • Interpret client needs for growth and engineering teams and help manage priorities, execution, and milestones.
  • Inform business line stakeholders and keep them aligned on customer feedback and program progress.

Requirements

  • Proven development and growth leader with experience building and winning business capture strategies, especially with the US Navy as a customer.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of defense acquisitions and zero-to-one defense program growth.
  • Experience with the technical, programmatic, and operational challenges of autonomous systems, surface platforms, and payload integration.
  • High-energy, high-ownership leadership with strong management skills and emotional intelligence.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial, and creative environment.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, including experience briefing senior executives and customers.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant DoD / IC / Commercial programs, platforms, and payloads, including enabling technologies, systems integration, and software development.
  • Ability to travel 20-50%.
  • Active U.S. Secret security clearance, with the ability to maintain it.
  • Expertise in Surface Warfare, Distributed Maritime Operations, or complex engineering systems (preferred).
  • Advanced degree (preferred).
  • Prior military, contracting, DoD, or government experience (preferred).
  • Experience with government business development, contract structures, and proposal processes (preferred).
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance (preferred).

  • Salary range of $191,000 to $253,000 USD.
