Description

  • Define and implement QA standards, processes, and automation frameworks across SIS and corporate systems.
  • Establish and maintain a test management strategy covering functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
  • Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for new features, integrations, and releases.
  • Conduct end-to-end testing of SIS workflows, including Finance integrations such as billing, refunds, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Perform regression testing and manage defects from discovery through resolution.
  • Own final QA sign-off for releases and ensure deployment readiness criteria are met.
  • Implement and maintain automated testing tools and reusable scripts to improve coverage and efficiency.
  • Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
  • Work with developers, analysts, data teams, and business owners to clarify requirements, validate data, and support UAT.
  • Produce QA reports, dashboards, and post-release reviews to track quality trends and improve future testing cycles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong hands-on experience with both manual and automated testing methodologies.
  • Proficiency with automated testing tools such as Selenium, Provar, or equivalent.
  • Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and test management tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
  • Experience testing integrated enterprise systems, preferably Student Information Systems, ERP, or CRM systems.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation and backend testing.
  • Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience testing SIS and ERP systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, or similar is preferred.
  • Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI and database testing is preferred.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of QA metrics, root cause analysis, and risk-based testing is preferred.
  • Ability to mentor QA analysts and promote continuous quality improvement is preferred.
