Description

  • Own the strategy and end-to-end sales process for expanding AlphaSense’s most strategic APAC accounts.
  • Develop executive-level relationships across Corporate Strategy, Competitive Intelligence, Business Development, and M&A stakeholders.
  • Execute a value-based enterprise sales motion, including champion building, business case construction, and deal management.
  • Research opportunities, prospect new accounts, initiate conversations, conduct demos, manage evaluations, and close deals.
  • Partner with the Global Account Leader to co-create local expansion strategy and coordinate resources.
  • Work with SDR, Marketing, and Account Management teams to create prospecting plans and drive pipeline.
  • Forecast accurately and help build the pipeline needed to meet or exceed team quota.
  • Maintain customer health throughout the contract term and close upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
  • Become an expert on customer needs, market dynamics, competitive landscape, and product differentiation.

Requirements

  • Experience owning a book of new business in an enterprise sales role.
  • Strong track record of success in a SaaS sales environment.
  • Experience executing a value-based enterprise sales motion, preferred.
  • Ability to explain complex business data and concepts to non-research audiences.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills for executive and cross-functional audiences.
  • Proven ability to drive pipeline through personal prospecting efforts.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to uncover business challenges through discovery.
  • Tenacity, resilience, and a strong drive to succeed.
  • Coachable mindset with openness to feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Japanese is strongly preferred.
