Description

  • Partner with Enterprise Account Executives to develop technical sales strategies and secure technical wins.
  • Lead technical discovery to assess customer objectives, architecture, integrations, security needs, implementation constraints, and success criteria.
  • Deliver tailored, value-based product demonstrations for technical and executive audiences.
  • Design and guide proof of concepts, pilots, and technical evaluations in enterprise environments.
  • Develop solution approaches for APIs, webhooks, authentication, data flows, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Identify technical adoption risks and develop solutions to address them.
  • Own technical responses to RFPs, RFIs, security questionnaires, compliance discussions, and technical documentation.
  • Communicate customer feedback, competitive insights, and product enhancement opportunities to Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Marketing.
  • Document technical best practices and improve presales processes.
  • Maintain expertise in the AlertMedia platform, enterprise technology, and industry trends.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Pre-Sales Engineering experience supporting enterprise SaaS customers.
  • Experience partnering with Enterprise Account Executives on complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • Experience leading technical discovery, solution design, demonstrations, proof of concepts, and technical evaluations.
  • Technical fluency with REST APIs, HTTP methods, JSON, webhooks, SSO, SAML, OAuth, cloud applications, enterprise integrations, and SaaS architecture.
  • Experience responding to RFPs, security reviews, and enterprise technical due diligence.
  • Ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions and communicate with technical and executive stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation, storytelling, project management, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Experience using AI tools to support technical research, customer deliverables, or presales workflows.
  • Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or similar is preferred.
  • Basic scripting experience in JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar, plus familiarity with enterprise security, compliance frameworks, and procurement processes, is preferred.
