Description

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitching to campaign strategy, proposal development, and campaign execution.
  • Build and manage relationships with key clients and agency partners.
  • Lead conversations with brands and agencies to understand their business goals and position Spotify advertising solutions.
  • Educate clients, agencies, and local teams on partner products, ad formats, and campaign opportunities.
  • Use existing networks to generate new client acquisition and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to source new business leads.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to manage client-level resource use and support high-priority pitches.
  • Report monthly on sales performance against budget and explain variances.
  • Maintain timely and accurate client and campaign data in internal CRM platforms.
  • Help improve customer service and support priority vertical and advertiser focus across local teams.

Requirements

  • Experience in advertising sales or a similar sales-oriented role, such as media agencies or SaaS solutions.
  • Understanding of how agencies plan, buy, and measure digital and programmatic advertising campaigns.
  • Passion for Spotify, audio innovation, and the evolving digital media landscape.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or a similar CRM is a plus.
  • Highly customer-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A systematic way of working combined with a strong can-do attitude.
  • Highly analytical and data-focused, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
  • Tech curiosity and proficiency with Sheets, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
  • Business-level English and local language skills, written and spoken.
  • A network of key agencies and clients is required/preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to act as both a team player and a competitive individual.
  • Coachability, resilience, a positive attitude, and a proven ability to take and implement feedback.
  • Ability to engage and communicate with clients in a positive and approachable way.
  • Proven top performer in previous work experience.
