Description

  • Execute a proactive local marketing and sales strategy across an assigned territory.
  • Create and implement account-specific plans to grow revenue from assigned and prospective accounts.
  • Prospect for new business and develop relationships with potential and existing customers and clients.
  • Represent the brand in person through meetings, presentations, events, and other field-based outreach.
  • Drive enrollments and revenue on university campuses by managing faculty and administrator relationships and running events.
  • Establish, hire, train, and support Campus Ambassadors at assigned universities.
  • Build relationships with university administrators, faculty, student leaders, and student prospects to generate sales inquiries.
  • Identify and pursue academic partnership opportunities with accounting and business department leadership.
  • Assist with contract negotiations and contract renewals as needed.
  • Drive revenue growth with firms, corporations, and government agencies by strengthening key relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing, sales, or direct customer service preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and confidence as a public speaker.
  • Comfort presenting to large audiences of 200-300 people.
  • General PC and Microsoft Office proficiency required, with expert use of PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel.
  • Ability to learn new programs is a plus.
  • Must be able to lift 30 to 40 lbs.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
  • Travel required approximately 60% within the assigned territory; candidate must be able to cover travel expenses upfront and receive weekly reimbursements.
